I have a 2004 Chaparral 260 SSI which has a waste tank and waste tank level indicator. I believe the display took a dump (no pun intended) and I'm see what I can do to replace it? Anyone know of any good opitions that I might have? A quick search online kept taking me to this DTM-04 https://marinesan.com/dometic-tank-monitor-dtm04-22-w-o-vent/

I think this might be the best option but wanted to get some people thoughts based one there personal experience.

I've attached some photos of my old unit.
Also are there any tricks to removing the old tank sensor?

The one in your link was similar to the one which came with my cruiser. Used 3 floats and once the top one tunes ON, it shuts the system down and not able to use until pumped out

Simple ladder circuit. Pretty obvious where the problem lies.

Clean PCB with alcohol and an applicator brush then repair the 3 tracks that are damaged. worth a try before throwing in the trash

Not Obvious to me. Could you be so kind to circle where in the picture I would have to clean or what I need to repair?

Also How do I remove this ? Do I need a special tool or is there a trick or something?20220510_181623.jpg

I have flushed out the system serval times and emptied it. It has never turned on since I purchased the boat last year, so I don't think it was working just another project to add to the list on this boat :/

Need to thoroughly clean the PCB denatured alcohol and replace the missing tracks.
