Water Circulating Pump Needed

Before the trip out on the boat Sunday, I ran the motor in the driveway and just checked the motor over for leaks or anything.

Found that the water pump has water leaking from the weep hole, so I guess it's time to replace.

I'm having a hard time finding the right water pump (circulating pump) for the engine. I'm at work right now and can't get to the engine serial number from here at the moment.

But I do know I have a 1997 5.7 liter Mercruiser with an Alpha I drive.

With the limited info above, can anyone tell me a part number or direct me to the best place to purchase the part?

Thanks!

Or bammarine, which is probably easier to look it up actually......JK

I have a 97' 5.7L EFI, should be same part#. I ordered one from BAM marine in Florida last year. Their price is $123, mercruiser price is 144. Part number is 8503991, but I would still look it up by your serial number.

Ok guys...thanks for the quick replys...!

I'll do some looking around at the sites provided...bryantjb3...I agree I really should get the serial number to make sure I get the correct part I'm carbed by the way...not sure if that would make a difference.
