Re: water circulating pump

I haven't heard of anyone doing a rebuild themselves, but if you google "auto water pump rebuilders", you'll find there are rebuilders out there.

Re: water circulating pump

I'm going to rebuild my AQ131C pump.
As long as the body is in good shape, it goes like this;
1. remove two 16mm ID bushings, carefully
2. press in new bushings carefully.
3. Replace seal.
4. Optional, replace steel shaft with new one.

Looks like this

Dennis, the OP is asking about the engine circulating pump!

I agree wtih Capmello. Try searching for a company that overhauls engine circulating pumps.
In years past, friction companies used to provide this service. This would be a company that rebuilds brake shoes, clutch discs, etc.

Re: water circulating pump

That's a raw water pump Dennis, he is talking about the circulation pump.
The new pump (831742) runs around 1400 bucks.
There are parts for them, you can order them from here at iboats Click here .
That $100 seal (460839) is ceramic and very easily broken.
