I went to start my engine yesterday. Aq130c. I had the outdrive submersed in water. When i started it water started to gush out from the inlet of the oil cooler. When I turned the engine off it looked like the piping came loose. Now there is a small gap between the cooler and the pipe and I dont know how to reconnect it. I dont see anything in the manual about connecting and disconnecting. Well nothing that would help. How and what do I need to do to reconnect the pipe to the oil cooler? From the pics it looks like an O-ring type seal. Is the pipe bolted to something that is supposed to hold it down, into the fitting?

If I had to guess, I would say it was pushed out of the oil cooler from freeze damage.
Either the tube is bent or the clamp (item 43 in your pic) is bent. It's shape and position is the only thing that keeps things where they belong. If the tube is bent, you may never get it straightened enough to seal properly.

No Its not freeze bent. Its always been bent that way. And thats the thing there arent any bolt holes.... thats why Im confused. There is a seal inside, so I know it can be detached, so you can change it. There was a whole bunch of sealant there that, I ripped off after I saw that it was disconnected. thats why Im confused. Thanks though.

I mis read what you wrote about the freeze theory. That might be possible...

I'm with Don, that clamp clamps onto the line and holds it in place, in relation to the motor. It probably clamps the line farther away from where the fitting is, using the line rigidity to hold it into the hole on the cooler. If the clamp is still on the pipe, loosen it up and slide the pipe down into the hole and retighten. Or bend the line until the end seats back in the cooler. That line may be corroded internally and weakened, thus allowing it to "flex" and pop out of the seat hole. Maybe post a picture, zoomed out a little, to get more of the line in frame?
