water flow on 1980 140 Johnson

replaced water pump and housing on motor. Everything installed great, now when running with garden hose, lots of pressure from pee hole also now i see water coming from hole in the lower unit, is that normal? The old pump did not do that,

Sounds normal. There is a small hole directly in front down low and one on each side of the gearcase, both flow water.

I have a very strong "pee" after a rebuild. Thought something was wrong(do my own rebuilds) and went looking and verifying. Just a good pump with good flow.

Shouldnt be anything to worry about as long as you verify normal operating temps around and on top of the heads.

great, i was a little worried I that the water tube on the head and pump housing did not hook up
