I have a 2003 df15 4stroke.I have recently purchased this engine without a manual and have encountered a problem with water flow.I start the engine which runs ok,but no water flows from the outlet hole at the rear.I do not see any outward signs of overheating, however I assume the lack of water flow indicates a bad impeller. Is there any other cause?

Re: Water flow problem

Debris may be blocking the outlet or the tubing. Run the motor and probe the telltale with a wire to dislodge any clog.

Yep, bugs and spiders get in the tell-tale tube and stop it up...a piece of wire or monofilament/weedeater line should open it up, if that's the problem...
