Water hose from gimbal housing to bell housing

Alpha 1 Gen II:
Is this just standard heater hose that you can buy from any parts store or is there something so special about this water hose that I should pay $13-14? And I'm guessing that the water hose lasts longer than the bellows typically?

Buy the right hose, It's a PIA to change. The merc hose is pretty stout, last thing you want is for a kink to restrict the water flow.

The correct hose is double wall compared to single wall heater hose that will kink.
