Water Hose

I have the lower U off my 150 carb,if i hook up garden hose to water tube is it ok to run engine at idle??

With the hose at medium to full blast the water pressure supplied to the motor will exceed the pressure that the water pump will generate to the engine... You may be ok doing this but you might see some funny stuff going on, like the poppet opening at idle causing water to exit the upper exaust ports...<br /><br />I've heard of people doing this however...

KC ,Your motor running any better after de-carbon??? You have put new head gasket's on while back.

It's running great! I really didn't have a carbon problem. After the head gasket replacement It ran great but shortly after that I had a switchbox failure. All is fine, after replacement.
