The art of doing repairs, thinking outside the box, inventing has long past. Now in this throwaway world you replace. Dont get me wrong, sometimes replacement is the only way but boaters have only so much to spend on their toys.See my shift cable thread repair instead of gimbal replacement. Or see my Bravo pump install on a volvo v8.

The latest project due to the fact the previous owner installed 1 inch alum angle on the deck to provide a spot to clip the canvas. The aluminum is now being tested underwater to the dismay of the new owner watching me throw it in the lagoon .Will be replaced with these flush mounted locking system that leaves a flush deck when not in use.
