I think i have the dreaded glue seam leak on my motor, pulled the head yesterday, the cylinder and piston were steam cleaned, luckily caught in time before any damage could occur to the cylinder and piston. Ive researched this on a few sites and people say they can be welded. Has anyone had this done, and what kind of results did you have? About what price range does this kind of work usually run? I live in Kentucky and any reccomendations on machine shops for this work would be appreciated.
Really appreciate this site. Thanks in advance for and responses.

Sorry to say that I don't have the answer BUT this entry will shove your question to the top of the list for others to have a second look.
