I am watching this thread very closely as I get water in the bilge all the time. My glastron takes on water somewhere just dont know where...outboard though i sealed holes...I do have a pump for the bilge..I am not even sure that it dont come back in through the bilge drainage hole! Looking at it water could get in when riding not on a plane......anyway good luck with your water issue, hope you find it!

I have a similar thing on my 95 Seaswirl 175SE... opened the ski locker to a LOT of water... sitting in the bay for 3 days. The bilge pump cleared it out just fine, but my big concern is that it took a lot of bow lifting to clear the locker through the bilge (also full). I tore the carpet out of the locker and it also looked like there was a depression in the fore section of the locker. I've seen some cross sections of Seaswirl hulls and know they are well built, but what do I look for for any damage before I tear out the deck to check for blockages, etc?

would this cause a problem?

That is your Pitot hose line for your speedometer. and when tou store your boat, like it was said before, raise your bow up during storage and keep all your plugs out. Do you store your boat with the stern plug in? And if you had water in your bilge and your boats bow shifted downward, the water in your bilge compartment can and will also go into your storage comp. too. I am still thinking it could be from sideways rain water, from the pic. and your bow wasn.t raised up all the way and water settled in the storage(cooler). Hope thats all it is, Ya let us know what you find out.
