I have a omc 350 that just recently found water in a number of cylinders after setting the timing in the driveway i changed the mouse ears to recieved water from both sides. my driveway slants upward and what was happening the water when it joins with the exhaust gas flows backwards due to the up hill incline of the driveway since i was tapping the engine most of my cylinders got water in them luckly no damage is your friends driveway inclined. just a thought.
