Water in cylinders

I have a 1985 90h evinrude on a 19 ft impulse and the dealer is telling me there is a bad seal some where on this thing and water is geting into my cylinders what kind of seal would this be and is it detrimental to the future life of this engine

Water inside in places other than the water jackets is never good. <br /><br />Where exactly is the water?

not quite sure but the dealer is fixing it and said it wasnt a "big deal"

Find out exactly where the water is/was.
