i have a 1999 ocean pro 200. when i idle around and trim the motor up no water under the engine cover, when i am on a plane and come off plane and trim the motor up water pours out of a space in the engine gasket which faces the bow and does not have waves getting in there. when i run it on muffs with the cover off no visible water coming from anywhere. help.

You need to watch it when it is on plane to see if the wash is getting in through the same area that it is coming out.

Good point but would it not still leak at idle and trolling speeds although not as much due to the lower RPM ???

could be pin hole, that does not show, until the rpms, and pressure gets up.

There are a couple of common things. One is the shift shaft seal may be leaking. The other is if the motor is too low and there's a mist anywhere near the lower pans or the air intake it'll suck the water right in.
