Re: Water in fuel tank
In addition to starting with a clean water free tank, I am also a big believer in the racor or similar style 10-micron fuel/water seperator spin-on filters. Especially the ones with a clear bowl on the bottom of the filter, so you can not only see if there is any water in your fuel since it settles to the bottom, but also if there are any particles coming out of your tank or throught your fuel lines. And the nice thing about the racor is they have a little valve so if you do see any water or debris in the bowl you can drain it out without having to remove the entire filter. Worth every penny in my opinion. I also put sta-bil marine formula stabilizer ethanol treatment in my gas, but I will probably switch over to valvtect when my sta-bil runs out.
