Doesn't look easy, but does anyone have a technique to get the water out of a 70 gallon fuel tank in a 2000 sea ray. Pickup is at the top. Not sure what it looks like inside of the tank. Could I suck it dry from there? The sending unit is in the center, and not easy to get at, because of the plywood. How about an additive?

Depending on how much water is in the tank, you could try an additive like Seafoam or something similar to that. I've always had good luck with that. That's assuming that you don't have gallons of water in the tank.

If you can get into the tank try this: raise or lower the bow so the gas and garbage settles to the corner of the tank and use a hand pump / kerosene pump to pump out the garbage. You can use a piece of hose to extend the reach of the hand pump.
Dont use anything electric while working with gas!!

I've used a Holley red electric fuel pump for this. Just run a fuel line to a gas can and make a wiring harness with aligator clips.
The water will settle to the bottom of the tank, so it'll be pumped out first.
The outlet tubing may be at the top of the tank, but the pickup is at the bottom.
