I am not very happy with the site that I ordered my parts from. There USPS first class shipping is supposed to mean 3-5 days. I ordered my parts on Monday thinking I'd have my parts by today or tomorrow (Fri/Sat). Instead, they now have 2 of the five items in there possession and are waiting on the other three to ship to them from the manufacturer before they ship to me. I'll be lucky to have my parts by next Friday!!

OK just venting a little. I wonder how quickly I would have gotten my parts if I would have ordered from iboats??

Just thought I would update this thread with the final conclusion. It was a bad exhaust bypass cover (I think that's what it's called). Everything is back together and running well. The only problem I have left is that at low rpm's the motor misses occasionally. I have eliminated the plugs as a cause and I an reasonably sure that new points/condensers will do the trick.

The motor pushes my 12' rig plenty fast enough. If this were a short shaft the performance would be through the roof but for now I'll just have to work with what I have got.
