After winterizing my boat I opened the drain plug for the engine bracket and found a considerable amount of water inside. Is this normal?
thanks
eric

The boat is a 23 foot Hydra Sport and the engine bracket is Stainless Steel. It is attached to the transom of the boat and has a drain plug underneath. Thanks for the help!!

Would it not be as simple as screwing an air hose to the drain. Putting a little (not too much) presure on it and then soaping up the seams to find the leak? Just like a tire
