I have a 1974 boat with a Murcruiser inline 250 CID inline 6. How can water get in my tilt trim motor. I bought the motor used and wanted to change the oil. The oil is milky white (water in the oil). The guy I bought it from said he just changed the outdrive hydraulic hoses to the cylinders.
How many ways can water get in?
A couple I thought of:
Previous owner sucked up water right before he changed the hoses?
Could cylinders seals leak?
Anybody ever seen this????
