My tranny oil cooler leaked water into my velvet drive direct drive transmission. I caught it before running it much, if i change the cooler and flush the transmission and put new oil, is there anything else that may have been affected by the water?

Howdy,

Probably not. Just make sure you check the oil frequently for evidence of water. It's hard to get it all out. You might have to change the oil a couple of times. I think the Velvet drive uses ATF which is a fairly light oil. It should produce an emulsified mixture pretty quickly that you can R&R.

Next winter, ensure that you drain all the items with water in them!! Including any oil coolers ;)
