water intake hose to raw water pump size?

98 7.4L MPI. Anyone know what size hose I have so I can buy a engine flush kit? What is the ID?

Your best bet is to go measure the hose you have. I have seen several types of hoses used.

I figured but now its all closed up until spring

The hose right at the pump is 1 1/4"

Hopefully he doesn't have one of those tapered hoses that are a different size where he wants to install the valve. but it doesn't take long to send it back and get one the proper size

I'm almost positive its not tapered and it's 1 1/4. Thanks. There is only one way to know for sure though

The location where you will be istalling the flush kit will be within a few inches of the raw water pump. Definately 1 1/4" And since it is a Bravo, it is not a tapered hose because the fitting at the transome is 1 1/4" also.
