Water leak under helm

I have had this new to me pontoon out a couple times. Each time water starts coming out from under the helm. A steady flow whenever moving. A hole, or water built up from rain I wondered. After I popped the access cover I discovered a speedometer line not connected to anything that pees water. There is a line connected to the speedometer and no other line fitting on it, so what is this line for? Extra? Should it be plugged? Both lines are white and come from the transom area. Honda 135 and Honda gauges. The speedometer works ok. Input please!

At this point I would plug it, can't think of a reason they would have two speedo lines running up to the helm.

I solved the mystery. I stuffed myself under the helm and studied the backs of the gauges. It goes to a pressure gauge that monitors the water pump pressure of the engine cooling system. I wondered what that gauge was for. Great, no more looking at the pee hole!
