water leak when outdrive is in trailer pos.

my boat has a water leak but it only happens if the motor is in the trailer position. Even with it trimmed all the way up it doesnt leak but if i go to the trailer position in comes the water. Is this normal?

Assuming this is an I/O it sounds like your bellows is cracked or split.

just a guess but probably around drive shaft.

i found a tear in my shift cable bellows! Can I continue to drive with this like this, and how much is this going to cost me
