Water leak

i got a hold of this 2001 Yamaha 3 hp Changed the gear oil and it fired on first try. Everything works fine but I noticed a little water bubble leak on mid section where that black rubber grommet is for access to shaft nut. Any ideas why?

I do not see any water in pic.

did you pull that rubber plug and look to see where water might be coming from?

Yes, it spraying water from lower section. Its not a lot, just a splash/spray. Could be that some water goes in around that grommet since that section is also almost under water when running. I am guessing this is normal. Could be that some water is getting out of that water pump booth that connects to tell tale pipe.
