Water leak

I have a small 15 foot boat with a outboard motor.The only place I can see a water opening is the drain plug. The Bilge hole is solid all around, with a bilge pump and i just installed a float switch because i'm going to put it in the water ( and leave it ) for the rest of season. Is there any other ways for water to get in sitting or crusing the lake. Thanks P S the drain plug is plastic with a rubbero ring and a plastic fitting in the back
