Water leaking from Impeller housing

Water seems to be leaking from this hole under the impeller housing

It was leaking so I decided to change the impeller and the oring but looks to still be leaking

What could be causing this and how to fix. Thanks.

More than likely the seal is going bad. Noticed mine was slowly dripping this weekend as well. Going to rebuild it with a new bearing and seal.

The circular spring shaft seal on the back side of the pump needs to be replaced.

Rebuild kits and replacement pumps are inexpensive if you look for the Johnson pump directly. Sherwood also has the same pump.
