water leaking into bilge, volvo penta sx outdrive

so I put the boat in the water the other day and opened the rear hatch to check the oil and as soon as i got the rear hatch open i heard a water leak. Its tough to see where its coming from but looks like its coming in through the outdrive right under the drive shaft. any ideas? this sound like the bellows?

When was the last time you took off the drive? Time to do it and replace/inspect your bellows.

well i found a small tear in the bellows.... we had the shop change it last year but i'd like to do it myself this time. anyone have a good wright up on this? do i need some special tools?

Do you ever run your engine with the drive tilted pretty far up? What brand bellows did they put in? I would use the OEM bellows.

anyone have a decent wright up on this? im trying to decide if i can do this myself or if im better off bringing it to a shop.

Its pretty simple. Pull the drive and pull the pivot housing. You need a 1/2" hex driver for the pivot bolts.
