When my boat is set into the water, it leaks. the engine isn't running. It had water leaking into the bilge area from behind the engine. Is this a problem with the bellows? is it hard to replace the bellows.

Could be a number of things beside bellows. What drive do you have? How old is the boat? Used in salt water?

and tell us where the water is coming in at. We can't see it, and if we can't see where the leak is coming from, we can't tell you what to fix.

What make engine and drive will help also.....
It could be a number of things but if the bellows have not been replaced in the last 3 or 4 years that is very possible.

I would find it before using the boat!

If it is coming from the hole in the picture below, it is your drive bellows:

currently. I am in the process of replacing the floor. I haven't had a chance to take her to the lake, but as soon as the old floor is removed and the foam is removed and everything is ground down smooth, I'll take her to the boat launch. I will have more room to manuver around the engine.
