Water line removal?

My white boat has developed a yellowish stain where the water line is. I detailed it when I winterized it but the regular washing did not remove it. I saw on Shipshape that Flitz Calcium lime rust remover would remove it very easily. Has anyone used this or have any other product that works?

I haven't tried it yet on "Chesapeake Tea" but I have had great results removing black roller marks with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

My hard to remove scum line comes off with 2 squeezed lemos juice & a clean rag soaked with it.

Usually scums are acid or alkali hopefully. Oil or grease types get a powerwash. Then a acid or alkali rub down.

Wear rubber gloves. soaking skin in those liquids damages your skin.

Had good results years ago using Starbright hull cleaner. Almost amazing how fast it worked. No elbow grease needed. Good luck !!!

Muriatic Acid works wonders! Spray on, wash off. Little scrubbing with a brush if really nasty.
Then wax!

... Starbright hull cleaner. ...

Ditto. Actually anything labelled as 'oxalic acid' will work magic. I just this morning used ZEP Fence and Deck Cleaner, which is oxalic acid and a lot less expensive than Starbright, on mine.
