I am thinking about purchasing a boat. The water PSI while on the water hose is low.

Should this concern me? It is a steady flow of water, and it is cool water after idling for a while, but it is at only about 2psi. The gentleman who is selling the boat said that the PSI reads ~10psi while in the water and running higher RPM's. It is a 1990 Evinrude V4 90hp, VRO if that matters. He has receipts for having the engine and lower unit rebuilt 2 years ago, and it runs great (seems to at least, I plan to do a test-ride this week).

Let me know if I should be concerned.

Thanks
Shawn
