water pressure gauge question

Just installed a new OMC water pressure gauge. It is Tee'd in with the pee hole. Should I have it setup with the pee hole shooting water or blocked. I can't see how I will ever get a good reading on the gauge as long as it has an open hose to shoot the water. Thanks

You should have gotten instructions w/ the gauge kit. It's certainly not going to provide any useful information tee'd into the tell tale line (that's atmospheric - i. e. 0 psig ALWAYS). I would ask thwe dealer you purchased the gauge from where to connect it or consult the instructions.

Tee'd into the line with the tattle-tale is the right way. My water pressure is 16 - 18 psi @ wfo.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
