do you need to winterize the water pressure gauge?
i plan on replacing gauge because needle is pegged all the way over on high side.
when installing new line should it be filled with water or antifreeze?

Re: water pressure gauge

The tube is generally filled with air.
Water in the engine pushes on the air in the tube, which activates the guage.

If you are concerned about water/freeze damage in the guage, just disconnect the guage end and blow some air thru the tube to expell the water. Don't forget to re-attach, or you will pump water into the boat the next time you start it.

Thanks a bunch!!!!!!
I pulled it apart today and it had some water in it, I drained it.
I think I will need to replace gauge, the needle is stuck all the way to the high side. Any ideas?
