Hey, I've got an older OMC w.p. gauge on my 97" 115 I plumbed in, and have been using it while testing my setback and mounting height progress.
I just noticed last night after loading, the gauge was stuck at about 18psi.....thats what I was looking at at WOT, full trim. When I pulled back and trimmed down, I never looked at the gauge again.....holy crap is my first thought although I did look back and could see a good stream from tell-tale.
You guys got any recommendations for a good water pressure set-up????
I still had this one on the shelf so I used it. It's new, but old stock....15yrs, maybe.
We no-longer have a contract with OMC-Bombardier, so I have to buy like everyone else now....
Recommendations????
Thanks,
Walleyehed :) :)

Re: Water pressure gauge

try taping the back of the gauge, and check all fittings.

Re: Water pressure gauge

2k, I flicked the gauge, and it dropped but not to zero....wandering if it's working right, now.
Thought I might purchase something a little newer. I'd put my own rigging in if it looked decent.....just thought a new gauge and system would "spruce it up"...that, and I don't trust this gauge now....

Yea save yourself the headache of not knowing and replace with a new unit.

Peace of mind means a lot when on the water.
