water pump 25 merc

i changed all seal on lower unit reinstaled unit and water will not pee .i put the water pipe in first and still pissing from lower unit base at shift shaft. ive taken it off 4 times and no sucsess.please help/

In your last series of posts you did not answer whether you had removed the LU again to inspect the impeller. With the amount of water you have pouring out of the location you describe, something is seriously wrong.

When you changed the seals in the LU, did you install a new impeller?

Is there any damage to the waterpump housing, ie; cracks or distortion causing a failure to seal properly?

Do you have the manual for this engine?

the selco book and the manual have both been completly useless to me for this problem.i dropped the lower unit again and submerged it in water and blew air in the pipe...and all around the water pump housing blew water everywhere.that was with all new water pump gaskets .so now i siliconed every thing and i will see tonight.it almost seems to me that the housing may be warped there was no seal at all .the new gasket and old gasket seem to me to almost be to big.
