ok when i turn it on and the water hose is attached i see the water coming out of the shifter bar that goes into the lower end does that mean that i have the water tube in wrong or that something else is wrong

Sounds like you either missed, or the upper water pocket seal is non-existant in your drive. Time to pull it back down and have another looksee.

does the upper seal come with the water pump kit

where is the upper seal at is it where the water tube meets the housing

ok everyone i got it thanks for everyones help with this


i had to take the upper unit off and i found that every water hole was plugged up with salt cleaned it all out and she runs like a champ
