I agree with Jeffs. I had to do the same thing with my 120HP Force about a month ago. Do a search for water pump, impeller, cooling, over-heating etc. I recommend a manual to help you with the specifics. If it is anything like the 120HP i just did, you will need to remove the lower unit to gain access to the water pump and make sure you don't futz with the lower gear shift rod too much - when I put mine back together it wouldn't go in reverse because I had accidently unscrewed the lower shift rod several turns.
