Water Pump Rebuild Kit

Hello,

I need to rebuild the water pump on my 1986 alpha one drive. Never done it before so I don't know which kit to buy. I don't know when it was last done so I figure that I'll replace the impeller and the housing just to be safe. It appears that there are a few different kits with different bolt patterns, all of which claim to work on the alpha drive. I assume that is for different generations of drives? Anyways, does anyone know the kit/part # that I will need for a 1986 alpha one? If it helps, the motor is an '86 Merc 260/alpha one.

The kits are based off of your drive's serial number. I shop at wholesale marine, looks like you would need the one that is posted below...

The Sierra kit WITH upper housing is 18-3517.
