Hi everybody! The repair manual for my 1996 15 hp Evinrude says when replacing water pump kit, to lightly coat the impeller plate-to-gearcase deck mating surfaces, and also the pump housing-to-impeller plate mating surfaces with "OMC Type M Adhesive"(part#318535). Is this stuff still available, or is there a sticky gunk available at the auto parts store that would work just as well and probably be cheaper as well?
