Water Pump ??

Just got it running, using "muffs for water.

No water, been sitting 2 yrs.

? Where is the water suppoed to be coming out off, some seems to be coming from the the propellar area?

Also, have a new impella, do I have to remove the "plate"under the foot to get it off?

there should be a tell tale hose if your looking from rear of motor on right.you shoudnt have to take foot off to get at water pump. also after been sitting for 2 years make sure not a clog in line.

I wouldn't take my foot off either,(ha) but you will have to take the lower unit off. There will be a nut hidden under the trim tab that you will have to get to. Just pop the plastic cap of the top of the cavitation plate and use either an allen wrench or socket and extension to remove the tab. With all the obvious nuts remoed it shlould slide down and the water pump is around the driveshaft.
