I have read that the water seperator should be before the check valve and also after the check valve. Which is correct? Also should filter be installed below height of fuel pump but above the fuel tank height? thanks for all the help. The engine is a E200TXECM

Re: Water seperator

I have had the seperator mounted both before and after the check valve, didn't seem to make any difference.
Are you running a built in tank? If so you don't have much choice on the height of the seperator.
I mount them below the fuel pump but above the tank, but on built in tanks it's the only way you can do it.

Re: Water seperator

Mount the water separator between the primer bulb and the fuel tank. That is the proper place.
