This is a question I have had for a long time. Is there a good cleaner someone can reccommend for getting water spots off a outboard.? Ive tried many things but they just wont come off. Thanks in advance. BP

P.S also around the rubber gasket of the motor hood, it turns black (mold?) where it should be white. Anything for that?

Try CLR on the water spots and laundry bleach (diluted) on the rubber.

I can't guarantee they'll work, but both are worth a try.

Nothing gets white stuff whiter the a product called "Bleach White". It is a white wall/white letter tire cleaner available at any auto parts store or any discount store that sells auto supplies. It works on tennis shoes, as well.
