water streaming from hole in lower unit

I recently replaced the impeller in my 03 25HP Merc and while testing it with the water earmuffs I observed a steady stream of water coming from a small relief hole in the lower unit. Water was also coming from the telltale peehole on the engine. I don't remember it streaming from there before. Is this common or will this be a problem? Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!

you are good.. I have a couple in my LU as well...so long as water s coming out the pee hole and is at a goos stream...no worries
