water temp 90hp chrysler

I have a 1975 chrysler 90hp, I jts got it running aftre 3 years of sitting. It started right up after about 5 rotations of the motor and ran great. The question is what is the proper water temp that is coming out of the tell tail?
Or a round about guess. I checked it and it was 135-140 degrees.

That's about right! Warm to uncomfortable to the touch but will not burn you.
