Most tubes have a rubber grommet and a flange holding them in place.
That means pulling the power head.
I've made a temporary fix with a piece of garden hose.
Like PNW says need more info.
Need to know what year and what model/horse power your motor is before anyone can answer your question.
From this diagram item 5 is the waterline inlet or water tube. Unfortunately, it is already obsolete so your best bet is to fabricate one. The pic maybe too small but you can always zoom it and print it for readibility.

No it needs to be put in from the top.
It also needs a rubber grommet and the screws holding it in place will probably twist off and need to be fixed too.
Just use the hose fix.WAY easier.
