Waterproofing cover

I had a new cover made for my boat a couple years ago. It needs to be waterproofed now but I don't know what I should use. ANy tips here?

Also, any tips on how to keep it from shrinking? Seems to be getting harder and harder to snap it down each season and I doubt my boat is growing.

I use a product called "Camp Dry" which is a spray type of tent waterproofing. It and similar products can be found at any department or farm store that carries camping equipment and supplies.
