I've asked it before. But I was wondering if anyone could give me info on Waterwitch outboards. I've got a disassembled 1941 3.5hp model. Does anyone out there know where info ie. manuals etc. could be obtained? thanks.

Re: Waterwitch info

What is it, Sears used the "Waterwitch" name during the 1930's. Check with Sears and see if they might have something on micro film for that engine.
Sometimes they do.

After WWII, they used the "Elgin" name.

I don't have my reference material here to look up
a model number but certainly it is from the
30's and was made actually made by Kissel Manufacturing, which also made autos sold under
their own name.

Might also be helpful if you knew the model/serial number on the engine.

Thanks for the info spinner-bait. I do know the serial number. It is S 52236 and has 571.14 on it as well. I will be doing further checking. Thanks again.
