Wow, you sure jumped in with both feet! Congrats. I'd love that boat because I really don't want to deal with twin motors. Very nice boat, I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun with it.

We sure did :) We started our search a few months ago with bowriders and deck boats in the 20-22' range thinking that would make a good starter boat. After we really spent time assessing how we would like to use the boat though, it became clear we would really prefer something that we could spend weekends on so here we are! I'm with you on the twin motor thing...seems a little like twice the trouble to me.

We were very particular in our search and are thrilled we were patient and did our homework before plunking down any money. I just started posting here but have likely read every post for the past 6 months. I have learned alot and I think it has really helped us in the end to get a solid boat that meets our needs. Now we just need to get it in the water!!

I hear ya...I may eventually get horizontal 2 footitis :D

We love our 2001 that has the same power package as yours and somewhere between your year and ours they went to the 9' 2" beam (we trailer it) and made a separate convertible dinette on the port side that really makes it roomy for the 3 of us when it comes time for eating and sleeping.

Good luck.
