Weak Hand holds?

Has anyone else noticed something weak about the Four Winns hand holds? We had our 180 Horizon on the water for only 4 hours before the handle in the left bow has come undone! We'd tighten it, but the entire backing plate has come loose. Any suggestions?

If it is one of the new 180's I would contact your local Dealer and see if they can do a warranty on it, Four Winns is pretty good about resolving customers issues, and there backing plates usually hold since they use a bolt and nut with a plate instead of a screw into wood as some manufactures still do .. they will probably apply locktite to the metal/nylon nut
