weak spark on 1 plug,has new coils,where do i chk. next

Hi, i have a 1987 force 85 hp that has weak spark on 1 plug,i just bought the boat and they said it had all new coils.i stuck a bolt in the end og the plug wires then would hold the bolt close to the end of the plug,2 of them have real hot spark and the other didnt,,where do i chk. next? i have put all new plugs in with no change..also with the plug out and grounding it to the block it sparks good,but when i put it in the block the spark is real weak at the end of the plug,,,so i thought maybe 1 of the new plugs was bad so put in another new one with no change,,any ideas would be very helpful...thanku for your time ,,,Bono

Hey Bono,<br />You may have a bad coil serving that one cylinder (sometimes even a new coil is bad). Try switching coils to see if the "no spark" condition moves with the coil. <br />Backlash
