Where do you guys recommend me online sites to order outboard parts?

I asked this question in other thread, no one helped, so trying not to be offensive, I am asking in here (General Questions). I kept going back to **********, but that website is horrible. That ********** website isn't user-friendly. I could not find a whole water pump kit (with impeller, housing, gaskets, etc). So, I click on a "chat" and ask about that. The rep says that part (420382, which I don't think it's correct item) is not available and gave me another number for different retailer (**********). Anyways...

Is there a thread in here or something where I can find online websites for outboard parts... other than amazon.com. I am hoping to see pictures of parts included the order, so I know what I am getting. A good descriptive details too. Would be nice if the website has a model/serial number field and list only what fits this model.

Alright. Thank you. Now, from just looking at this, which one of the list is the KIT? Or, this is something I have to order piece by piece, part by part? Usually (at least for auto and other parts), they have a KIT with gaskets, springs, whatever to do a rebuild or something.

No pun intended, or do intended, I am trying here, alright? I may not be like you guy, "Forums Admiral" or knowledgeable with all part names/numbers off top of head. This is something I should be able to navigate without coming in here and ask, "where is a KIT for this, that"?

Perhaps, suggestions to other websites where there may be down-to-earth descriptive and photos, and price.

Did you even look at the list of parts in the last link? It will hit you between the eyes.

Just to set your expectations the rank people have mean nothing other than the number of posting they have to date. So someone who is a cadet could be one of the most knowledgeable members here likewise someone who is a supreme commander might be full of hot air, lol. We all do out best just some do it better than others.

You mean "Pump Kit. Water" (42089A5) ? Again, it doesn't tell me what's included. What are the part(s)?

CNT - most other sites will be blocked from viewing. iBoats is a forum that is hosted by an online store, so for parts we're going to direct you to the iBoats parts store (unless something's not available from iBoats).

We can't / couldn't tell what parts you're looking for from your post. We just answered the question you asked.

That kit has the parts you need. You can search that part number for Quicksilver online and see what's in the kit. You can also get a discount from iBoats for being a forum member.

Based on your general struggle with parts on at least two different web sites, I doubt you are comparing apples and apples. If I'm looking for help with parts, I usually start with the make, model and serial of the part I'm trying to replace. Maybe you're doing that, but that wasn't conveyed in the post.

The lack of information makes it difficult to help. The overall tone makes it difficult to care.
